About iRecommend

Launching iRecommend is the culmination of nearly 25 years in the affiliate marketing industry.

I've been involved in the affiliate marketing industry since 2001. First, on FlamingoWorld.com, a pioneering coupon code site from the early days of affiliate marketing. Next, as the founding engineer of FMTC.co until 2016. Finally, with CouponCause.com, a major coupon site that was acquired by Prodege in 2021.

For years, I've encouraged people to explore the opportunities in affiliate marketing. Then, in early 2024, I left my daughter's piano lessons with a list of materials we needed to buy, written on a Post-it note. 

On the way home, I had a realization: in this new AI-driven world, people want real recommendations from people they trust. What if I made a platform that allowed real businesses to create recommendation lists for their customers?

I thought this would accomplish several things:

• It would allow service-based businesses to communicate their recommendations with their customers.
• It would enable service-based businesses to recommend products without needing to carry inventory.
• It would provide those businesses with a new revenue stream through affiliate marketing.
• It would help businesses expand their reach beyond their current customers as influencers in their area of expertise.
